What's your Weather Like October 2024

Windy and wet, but not stormy yet, 11 degrees, but the fires lit to keep the dampness out, we both have arthritis, so feel it when it's damp.

 

The wind has really died down in the last hour, the sun is out too, maybe the afternoon will be calm after all?

 

Yesterday turned fine in the afternoon and I think stayed dry all night. It started raining about 9am and the wind got up a bit, but it's calming down now and the rain is forecast to stop in an hour or two.

 

For us it's heavy showers and a moderate breeze from the south west temp 15c feels like 15c

Just out for a coffe and a scone at a nearby garden centre. In between short but very heavy showers. Less wind than announced.

We had a couple of calm hours but the wind has returned and pots have had to be picked up

 

Well its dragging its heels, just persistent drizzle, with a wind, but nothing unusually strong.

 

We had a few hours of gusty wind and rain, but nothing particularly unusual for the time of year.

 

Suns out here, been for a walk round the village roads, it's windy, but at least it's dry and the sun is doing it's best, 14 degrees now, with the strong winds expected in an hour or two.

 

Sunny, got to 25c, now 24c so we will go sit outside for a while.

 

The gusty winds have continued, but the sun came out and it is now dry for some time. About 13c, but pleasant to do a bit of gardening. Had to stop as it's going dark.

Getting my sunglasses out for tomorrow.

 

It is the beginning of the afternoon and we are sunny, sunny, sunny and 72f 20c - it's like winning the weather lottery!

 

Some strong gusts this evening our wheelie bins were flying around the drive .
