What's your Weather Like October 2024

Good morning all ,sun and cloud with a high of 14c ,breezy but the wind as dropped a lot compared with yesterday ,a good washing day so the lines are full.

 

We had strong winds late evening yesterday and into the night, but now it's calm and grey (despite the forecast saying it's sunny). The forecast is fine and mild for the rest of the week.

 

It is currently 57f 13c and the guessers say it will be going up to 77f 25c and a sky full of sun to go with that!

 

I have come in (and Munch who was on my lap) as my thigh would have burnt had I not had leggings on as it is 23c with no breeze.

 

It is dry. Not many sunny intervals but better than gloomy and stormy yesterday.

 

Rain set in around 1.30pm and its here now for the rest of the day.
Really dark, could do with the lights on.

The barometer is high and has been right through the weekend, not sure even high pressure is an indicator of dry weather these days.

 

The strong wind overnight (65mph) hasn't damaged anything but there's a slate loose on the bungalow roof. Today is a lot calmer but still windy with heavy showers. 12C/54F

 

Surprisingly got to 26,9c today. 26c now and calm.

 

This was Saturday, Sunday was wet, now today is the same as Saturday again

 

It was sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 13c feels like 14c

 

After promising us a day full of sun we did not get one minute. Dull and still.

Tomorrow will be better with sunny intervals. At least it's not raining.

Just getting light and I can see a clear sky.
Cold though at only 6c.

 

Damp, cloudy start, and the rain has stopped. O'night low of 8 degrees [8 just now at approx. 8.00 am] with a predicted high of around 12 or 13, as it's supposed to clear up, but still windy.

Yesterday was reasonably dry with only a few lighter showers. The high was 12 degrees, and it was pretty breezy. Rain overnight, quite hefty judging by the noise on the windows!
