What's your weather Like October

13c wet and breezy, well wher did tthe strom go twas like a normal wet and breezey day

 

After a afternoon and evening of heavy rain and strong winds it now seems relatively calm before the next lot arrives. We
have a weather warning for tomorrow.

 

Our weather warning is only until tomorrow evening @shiney , sounds like you're going to have it bad it yours runs until Saturday.

At least our gardens are happy.

 

Overcast and breezy, 18c going to 23c. Under a rain and wind warning but I will believe it when I see it. Here in Central Algarve we are missing out on all the rain falling elsewhere.

 

Rain was fairly heavy yesterday evening we have had showers overnight, still on and off now. 20mm.
15c.

 

Had 2 hours of rain early this morning, stopped at 7.30. It's trying to brighten up with patchy cloud and a bit of sun. With a moderate breeze from the south temp 15c feels like 15c.

Unless something changes drastically, I can't see us getting much as the wind is coming Soutwest ...

 

We are having winds around 70mph and roads are being closed due to trees coming down, plans are in place to evacuate residents from nearby Brechin if the new flood defences get breached. Our village is on a small hill so we are feeling the force of the wind, I note some roses damaged already and it is due to get worse. We are in an amber area for wind, but red for rain, I really would not want worse winds than we have now.

Sunshine and showers some heavy

 

Glorious sunshine now and very still...standing water on the lawn but that's nowt in the grand scheme of things.
