What's your weather Like October

Good morning all

Well we seem to have had a dry night but there may be a few showers around midday. The wind is forecast to be very weak & be all over the place! At present thay are from the SSE but are expected to change to the SW then W before coming from the NW. Temps at 6.30am are 12C but will increase later to about 13C max.

 

Dry at the moment but undoubtedly we will eventually get some rain judging by our forecast.

 

13c damp and cloudy

 

Some light cloud about, calm, but a nippy 14c going to 22c, showers expected this afternoon.

 

Light rain 12c.

 

Drizzly and damp, brightening up this afternoon.

 

We just have constant drizzle also, pretty annoying stuff.

 

It's nice and sunny here today, and not feeling too cold either

 

We still have a Red warning for rain but thankfully the wind has dropped to a more normal 40mph for us. Roads and bridges have been swept away and tragically two people have lost their lives locally, the road bypassing our village is very quiet as no traffic can get very far north of us.

Mixed bag, mostly dry with intermittent glimpses of the sun now just had a shower. Temps now dipped to 13C.

 

Ben the Gardener having cancelled today due to warnings of heavy rain and wind expected this afternoon, we haven't seen a drop, just blue skies so we sat out for three hours. Currently 20c and overcast.

We are now under an Orange Warning for Wind and Rain through tomorrow.

 

Awww what a nuisance Vicky, you so wanted to get certain jobs done didn't you, fingers crossed for November.

 

Yes, I feel for Ben who had the morning booked up the road from us. J has had two Government warnings on his phone now.
