What's your weather Like October

A glorious Autumn Day. No wind and OK in a t- shirt at 2pm whilst the sun is still on the patio

The morning was cloudy, but late afternoon there were sunny intervals.
Now it's cloudy with light winds from the south temp 8c feels like 6c.

 

A fine dry day and the floods are subsiding locally, got out for a walk this afternoon, it's frosty now and the hills have snow.

 

@burnie Glad to hear you haven't suffered badly from the heavy rain & strong winds. To be in a red warning area must be rather worrisome I should imagine!

Yesterday was dry though cloudy to start the day, in the afternoon the sun managed to get out for a few long spells.

Today we have had next to no clouds but there was about 1/2 hour when it got so dark, about 3pm I think, that I had to put the light on as I couldn't see the keyboard beneath my hands!

Been nice & sunny the rest of the day/evening & now the skies are clear. Our max today was about 12C & our min is expected to be about 3-4C.

 

Calm and sunny with just a few fluffy clouds around, 11C/52F. It's still clear out there now and 4C/39F so frost is expected tonight.

Good morning all.

A colder start to the day today at only 6C! It's a cloudy beginning but sunny intervals are expected during the morning. The clouds are forecast to get thicker during the afternoon with rain arriving around bedtime. Temps are expected to be about 14C.

Not a bad day ,rain is due around 6pm this evening.

We live on a hill so our concern was the wind, we were cut off from surrounding towns by the floods, but we luckily didn't suffer anything serious damage wise, some harling has come off the conservatory wall, but that is minor to what some had happen.

 

We heard rumblings in the distance yesterday and it rained/showered steadily till 3ish when the sun came out. We had a wonderful almost 40mm of rain!!! A very nippy start for us at 12c going to only 20c. Lightly overcast but sun and showers are expected.
