Vicky ( sorry a bit dim this morning I think) what is the difference, apart from timing it looks like, between sunrise/ first light and sunset/last light.:noidea:

This looks to be my learn something new everyday ....for today.

      Good morning everyone.

No fog here today but it's a cool, damp start to a morning of showers. At 7am I saw that it had rained at some point, probably less than half an hour before. Though we are forecast rain up until 12 noon according to the Met Office app, it's not raining now at 8am. Doesn't look to have rained either since I last looked out about 7am.

Funnily, I queried J about this last week. He said it gets light before the sun actually rises and stays dark past when the sunsets. And it is true ... I have looked!

7 degrees, bin raining and it looks like it will again. Local river is up 3 foot, but steady, so hopefully no more flooding.

I've enjoyed a lovely sunny morning out in the garden and have just come in for lunch and checked out our forecast....still sunny 15C but apparently we are experiencing rain!!

We have another weather warning in place for all day Saturday until 6am Sunday for heavy rain...our garden is a complete bog already!!

Very sunny now  and 16C

Although the sun is getting low in the sky the panels are knocking out just under 2kW. :blue thumb:

We come under the weather warning for rain overnight sat into sun, so I looked at the actual forecast and it shows some rain but nothing unusual.
They just throw warnings out all the time now just in case something happens and they haven't put out a warning, it all started with Michael Fish.

But it does fit in with the climate change people and helps to reinforce their ideas.

We had a cloudy day with a few light rain showers during the day but most of the afternoon/evening the sun was out. The winds have only been a light breeze again today. We only managed to get up to about 13/14C max. For tonight the min is expected to be around 8C.

We have 3 days of yellow warnings for fog!

Pretty much a repeat of the last few days. A foggy start and light showers for most of the day. The wind is going to pick up a bit tomorrow so hopefully it'll move it on somewhere else. Well I can hope! :) 8C/46F
