A lot of cloud this morning but the sun managed to break through now and again. Now completely cloudy with rain promised later, and probably due to the breeze the fog has gone at last. 10C/50F

Kind of drizzly this morning, brightened up pm but just as things were starting to dry out a bit we had a heavy shower, so back to soggy square one now.

It's typical November weather isn't it @pete ? In fact we've had a lot of rain here this year and if it continues I think we'll see a lot of snow too. It has also seemed as if the weather has been a month ahead of itself all year. October is almost done but the damp and gloom this month is more like November.

I always think the damp and gloom sets in around October anyway, it just gets worse in November and December.
It was reasonably dry down here for the first half of October but since last weekend things have got a bit soggy, fairly normal, I think.
Glad I managed to get my garlic in a couple of weeks ago, its like a mud bath up there now and you just make it worse walking on it.

It would nice to be able to hibernate and wake up next spring.

Two minds with one thought. I've often said I need to hibernate at this time of year as I struggle with the gloom and lack of light - like yourself I believe?

I have got a white light Lamp but in the depths of my Winter depression I always forget to use it.

In the end today has been quite sunny and bright but we did have one sudden short, sharpe shower mid afternoon but thankfully we were undercover.

Sunny again now but has dropped to 13C.

I dont actually have any problems with the lack of light like some people do, but I just think winter is miserable and it wears you down.

Another day much the same as the previous! Cloudy & murky most of the morning then the sun pays a short visit in the afternoon! A similar day is predicted for tomorrow as well! No rain, & wind almost becalmed! Max around 13/14C. Min will be around 7/8C again tonight.

I go fishing for Cod, once the seas settle down a bit it will be perfect after a storm, good time to winter migrant birds too, we are getting good numbers of Waxwings already.
