Thick fog this morning, which meant a nice cool night 10 degrees in the greenhouse, now 20 not a breath of wind though.

I'm a bit confused about all these feels like temperatures.
Looking on the met office site all the stated feels like temperatures are either the same as actual temperatures or slightly lower in my forecast.
Correction, two are a degree higher.

I'm not at home at the moment, journeying south but stopping overnight at a hotel. It's been mostly sunny, hot and very humid, 26C/79F.

Sunshine almost uninterrupted all day from sunrise to sundown! [IMG] We got up to about 28-29C here today! Tomorrow & the weekend we are forecast low 30sC! It's difficult to think we are in September & not July or August! It's even more difficult that these kind of temps are happening in September in the UK!!!

Yes, and over 100kWh in the last five days. We're feeding the national grid quite well. :)

Metcheck sys: "Feels (2 metre RealFeel Temperature) - This is what the temperature will feel like based on wind speed, temperature and humidity".

So, two metres above the ground, what the temperature feels like, on exposed skin.

What? No, I certainly won't be testing that by shinning up a step-ladder just in my pants, thank you very much.

Good morning everyone. Welcome to another scorching September day! :phew:

The Met Office app says we have 16C at 6am with hardly a breath of wind. We can expect another day where the temps climb up to the edge of the 30sC - difficult to imagine we're in the UK in September!
