    Good morning. 18C already :phew:. Lawn really needs cutting but soaked in dew and hot sun forecast soon. I can't work in the hot sun with the mower weighing over a hundredweight (I still thing in old Imperial measures :old: :heehee:). It's the traditional hundredweight I'm referring to and not the American namby pamby one! :paladin: :loll:

    They now call the American one the 'short hundredweight' and the Imperial one the 'long hundredweight' as our one is twelve pounds heavier.

                        I might be wrong but I think I used to hear Americans refer to a quart, obviously 2 US pints, but i think they often referred to it as a Liter.
                        Talking booze of course.
                        Might be remembering wrong, but I do remember Liters being spoken about.
