What's your Weather Like September 2023

Been warm today and sunny . It rained yesterday morning everyone's cars and everything else is absolutely filthy covered in Sahara dust The car wash / valet places were very busy today . I don't think the dust has finished yet so they be covered again in no time

 

We won't get any, never do hardly.

 

Too warm for the time of year. I wonder whether September will turn out to be another record-breaker here or globally. Have a nice bottle of cold cider, did not want to cook tonight. Will try to pick fr3nch beans in the morning, before 9, when Metcheck says iy'll be 23C / 73 1/2F

 

It's the middle of the night and too hot to sleep.
I've got a fan but can't put it on incase it frightens Bella - she's sleeping on the landing, stretched out along the bannisters

Good morning everyone It's a tropical morning here with 20C at 6am! I don't know just how high temps have been overnight but I had to get up at 5am & it was sweltering in our bedroom! We have had the door open all night with the window open as well as the kitchen window to try to create airflow but the air is completely calm, not the slightest movement at all!

We expect to reach at least 30C here but perhaps a degree or 2 more. We are under a yellow alert for thunderstorms this evening, but then so is at least two thirds of England! ⚡

Last of the hot days and to be honest I must add...thankfully.

 

19c very misty can't even see the bottom of the garden, we to are in yellow warning even there was a yellow warning last night but no thunder but had a bit of rain

 

Nothing happened yesterday ... no thunder, no rain. Overcast again this morning, grey and still, Yellow Warning for Thunder and Rain again but I won't hold my breath, 20c going to 26c.

 

The hot week has pretty much revitalised a lot of my plants that were, I think, getting ready for autumn, lots of pot watering going on twice a day just to stop them going limp, it's tempting to repot some pot bound stuff but I'm not falling into that trap this late in the year.

 

I've just come in from the oven ... sorry, garden ... it's only 10 a.m..
