What's your Weather Like September 2023

Seems to me , the hottest day so far . Sat by the patio door with a fan full on.
Toms ,hanging basket and other pots watered .

It was 23.5c in my bedroom last night. I have Black-out curtains but the Sun hits the window around midday.
Outside in the shade it's 27c and rising at 9am.

 

Overcast, 24c and humid. Waiting for the rain.

J went to look at a car earlier just above Messines and went through torriential rain!

Apparently lots of Algarve Central to Eastern felt the Morocan earthquake ... but we didn't.

 

It was 28c in my bedroom at 10.30 last night, my window faces SW. It was still 25c when I got up this morning, the concrete holds the heat and the cold.

 

Too hot, even here in our only tiny bit of shade.

 

Sunny with a bit of cloud and light winds from the south west temp 28c feels like 33c

 

25c 78% humidity. Sun popped out for a moment but no hint of rain.

 

Temp gauge says 26c (in the shade) but tis a lot warmer than that, funny thigs is i put out the washing with the thinking it would dry quick but tis still hanger on the line still damp or so the grass is also very damp, i think with all that rain weeks back now this hot weather is pulling it back out the ground

25c 72% humidity, blue skies, puffy white clouds, just came in for dinner having been outside for three hours, will go back out after dinner and listen to music.

 

I'm sure if this weather pattern had happened in July we would have broken last years maximum high record of 40c.
Its September but the last week hasn't felt like it, a good 33c today, probably the peak now.

 

Hot with partial high cloud, 29c max.

 

It seems we did pass the 30C barrier today with at least 31C or perhaps 32C! (depends on what weather website you look at!) At about 5pm it got so hot in our living room I got out the fan & for the last few hours it's been more reasonable!

In our kitchen, without any extra heat from cooking, we reached 30C! The Venetian blinds were closed most of the afternoon but it made little difference! In our entrance hallway, supposed to be the coolest place in the flat, we reached 29.5C this afternoon! We can't tell the temps in our living room because the 3 thermometers we have only go as high as 27C! They just go black after that! They are the cardboard & plastic ones that have a scale of temps & changing coloured numbers. Perhaps I should bring in the thermostat from the entrance for a few hours just to see how high the temps get in here. We have ceiling to floor thermal curtains with an extra curtain my wife sewed on top many years ago. They have been closed practically the whole day but they still don't keep the heat out!
