What's your Weather Like September 2023

This is better!!

 

20c cloudy with the sun looking through, also we had a few spots of rain in the night + a lovely shower of rain at 6am

 

Bright with some thin high clouds.

Some grey cloud with the sun peeking around, 19c going to 26c. J will do a big water this morning as we didn't get any of the forecast rain, although it was heavy about 15km North of us.

 

Welcome to another hot, sticky September morning!

We haven't come down from 25.5C all night! When we went to bed we had 26.5C! I've brought the thermostat from the entrance to the living room, even with the balcony door open since 6.30am, as well as the kitchen and bedroom windows open, the temp here is still 25.5C!

The Met Office app gives us between 50-60% possibility of a thunderstorm this pm, so we are unlikely to see "natural fireworks",just some more cloud!

Temps are once more forecast to reach as high as 30C once more this afternoon!

Next week temps are forecast to start to fall back down to seasonal averages - a diplomatic way of saying we will feel the cold!

 

We seem to be getting the best of the weather just now, it won't last, but very pleasant and a bit cooler at night, 16 degrees just now with a gentle breeze, rain is forecast over the coming week, but remaining quite warm.

 

Light cloud and light rain showers with light winds, everything seems to be light from the south east temp 24c feels 29c.

 

20c just gone dark and started to rain may be a light shower but hopefully a long spell just nice as it's keeping temp down

 

A cooler and more pleasant day with a bit of a breeze now and then.

We had quite heavy rain from mid morning until mid afternoon but the sun is out again now and it feels hot again.

 

At 3 o'clock we had a good 10 minute shower giving us a magical 2mm of rain. Something is better than nothing. Sunny since then and 25c.
