What's your Weather Like September 2023

Slightly overcast, 19c going to 25c, no rain in the forecast.

I completely agree Upsy, but things were different when we bought this house 26 years ago and moved here 22 years ago.

 

We're having a week of 36C/18C and no rain since mid-August. Mowing is not a problem Even the clover is struggling now.

 

A nice cool start to the day. Time to do housework , watering and enjoying the shrill squeak of a young Woodpecker .
A bit concerned over the lack of any breeze today. It's gonna be hot hot HOT

We had another scorcher yesterday, but in the evening the Harr rolled in off the sea, so a cooler night and it's still cloudy/misty this morning with 16 degrees.

 

Sunny with light winds from the south east temp 25c feels like 29c

 

Hot... 29C feels like 35C and it's going to get hotter this afternoon

 

31C + now ,

 

It's again been exceptional in the fact its been almost dead calm all day, hardly a bit of air movement.
The sky has been very hazy all day.

I think the temperature has peaked here for today now.
Don't laugh at the cheapo thermometer I've checked it against a mercury one and it appears to be fairly close.

 

Overcast, 27c with a light breeze.

Light hazy cloud all day but still peaked at 28c which is 4c hotter than where my brother lives in Greece. Unfortunately they live in Volos which is experiencing severe flooding and violent storms
and after only just missing the wild fires.

 

I was watching this yesterday, its a bit long but if you can stick with it lots of information.

 

6:30pm and it's much nicer now out here on the kitchen patio.
