Bright start here, but with light cloud. O'night low was 9 degrees [10 just now at approx. 8.35am] with a predicted high of around 14, and overcast in the afternoon, with rain later and into the evening.

Yesterday, it took until about 1pm for the mist to clear, and then we had a dry, mainly sunny day but with wispy clouds, and a high of 21. No wind, and cloudy by 5pm. Very pleasant.

Had some more downpours last night - we get the rain in the night, which is very thoughtful of the rain gods.

So today is dry again, mainly cloudy and breezy with a max of 16c. 12c at the moment.

On Wednesday the max will be12c so best get those jumpers back out. I have never taken the electric blanket off the bed.

Same here electric blanket is a delight in the cold months. Its blue sky, breezy and dry can deal with this all day . Potting on after a cuppa that’s more like it , it’s around 13c out there .

Not contributed for a few days since the very heavy rains on Thursday, it filled up my gauge above the graduation marks which stop at 40mm. I reckon over the 24 hours it was at least 50mm or 2 inches in old money. We have had lots more since.

Today is improving, a bit of drizzle to start with, a slight breeze, 14c going to 18.

                        Breezy, very overcast, mild.

                        Not very inspiring, TBH.

More cloud than blue sky, but we have seen the sun, 15 degrees and I have cut the grass, shredded all the hedge trimmings and the compost bin almost overfloweth.

Finally a sunny day today after days of rain, feeling really warm in the sunshine. I've been out in the garden taking stock, and saw a dragonfly! We've never had those before, hoping that it's paying a visit to the little container pond I installed earlier in the summer.

Well its threatened to brighten up on a couple of occasions but each time the clouds have rolled back in, really gloomy again now and need the lights on in the house.
This total gloom is messing up my eyesight.

It reached a cold 17c in a moderate breeze.

Last year it was 33c tomorrow, hard to believe how really bad this year has been.
