What's your Weather Like September

Cold......It was 23c in my bedroom on Sunday, last night it was 15c.
On goes my heating sadly.

 

This has occurred to me ... but I'm hoping to get away with extra layers, blankets, and hot water bottles till at least mid October. I never have the heating on at night, and I will just have to keep on the move during the day.

18c, cloudy and blustery, summer has made a very quick departure.
Will it come back before winter digs in, its anybodies guess, would be nice to get some bright autumn days before then, but total gloom appears to be how its going.

 

Just 13c and raining.

It was warm and sunny earlier so I walked up the mini GC and bought some pansies. Planted them up.

Since then it's gone downhill and it will be just 6c tonight and shock horror 3c Thursday. Can that be accurate? Need to get some plants under cover then.

Just turn it on for a half an hour and see if all the radiators get warm up to the top or air needs to be released. If it works now, it will work in October

Very windy but mostly fine and dry, so three sides of the big summer house painted with oil based treatment, ran out, so need some more to finish the front. 11 degrees and sunny now with a chance of snow this week on the hills, not sure the Sweetcorn will appreciate low temps, might be bird food again.

 

A clear sky and a gentle breeze from the west north west temp 10c feels like 9c, supposed to go down to 6c tonight.

Birght, clear start here. O'night low was 5 degrees[ 6 just now at approx. 7.25am] with apredicted high of around 11, although I think it'll be higher as it's meant to be quite sunny most of the day, with just the odd shower later. Gusty winds again though, although not as strong as yesterday.

14 degrees in the lounge just now, but no chance of heating going on! I might close my bedroom window now though.


Yesterday was mainly sunny, with a few hefty showers - I timed my walk well [ and also the covering of my bit of concrete in the evening ] and the high was 14/15 degrees. The gusty winds were strong though, but it was very pleasant in the sun.
