Sunshine all day. Good for the family who are staying here until Friday. Our temperature is a relieve for them. They left the hot weather in LA for a week and enjoy our weather.
13c currently, up to 19c today. Will be probably warmer in sunshine.

Looks like weather will turn next weekend and Atlantic lows will cross us and it gets wetter.

 

It rained late yesterday, now just cloudy and 14c.

 

13c cloudy and dull

 

A bright, quite clear start here, with some spectacular pink clouds at half 6 when I got up.

O'night low was 6 degrees [7 just now at approx. 7.35am] with apredicted high of around 16 degrees as it's to be bright and quite sunny. We're in for a nice settled spell, so that will mean I can get on outside and enjoy the lovely autumnal sun. The wind has dropped too, and it's calm.

Yesterday was a day of mixed stuff - cloud, smirr, light showers and a good breeze, with a little bit of sun thrown in now and again. The high was 15 degrees. The sun was mainly late aftn. and early eve. though. A lovely moon in the evening too.

 

Good morning blue sky, very calm and the sun shining on the front garden the shrubs particularly the Cotoneaster hanging over the lower wall is lighting up with all the red berries ready for the blackbirds . 13c so that’s a good start .

 

Hazy sun, calm and 19c. Same old hot day ahead. But we are threatened with showers Friday morning and cooler temperatures

 

A little bit misty and steamy at the moment, but then it will be full sun until it gets dark. Max 18c. Very still. Lovely.

The rest of the week looks the same. I do love the September mists and fog.

The owl was out at midnight hooting around.

 

Bright chilly start off out to St Andrews for a mooch with our visitors today, not really ice cream weather though.

Absolutely perfect here. Blue sky, warm sunshine, bit of a breeze.

 

Breezy and 32c.

 

Another week or so absent from the forum, but not much to report on the weather front. We had a couple of cool nights last week, but not cool enough to clobber the tender stuff - tomatoes and cucumbers are still ripening on the plants.

We had 4.5mm rain on the 8th and 5mm yesterday but barely anything in between. Halfway through the month and the total so far is 23mm, a bit less than half the September average.

Today is sunny and quite still, 17C but feels warmer in the sun and cooler in the shade.
