Sunny with a lot of blue, 27c and breezy. This is lovely weather but I do wish the rain would stop going away.

It's been sunny and clear since mid morning, a really nice day, even the gusty wind is now warm.

High tides here too this week @Victoria but I haven't heard of any breaches yet and parts of the coast here are very low. We chose to buy 20kms inland and 45m above sea level after hearing about storm Xynthia in 2010.

Bit peeved at the mo - bone dry here and the forecasters keep flip flopping between maybe wet and very wet this weekend. On off rainfall. At the mo it's bright sunshine to the south but heavy clouds to th enorth, east and west and really loud rumbles and claps of thunder but not a drop of rain in sight here.

I need quite a bit to soften the ground for bulb planting!

We are about 14kms inland and 90m above sea level with a couple of hills in between.

Sunny and 24c now again with threats of showers in the night.

We're on the outer edges of the Marais Poitevin which used to be mostly below sea level with odd "islands" where monks arrived and built monasteries and drained the land to farm it. I'd have to go well inland @Victoria to get 90m above sea level.

Little bits of streaky cloud creeping in from the south now but still dry.

What a difference a day makes as the old song went, 10 degrees cooler than yesterday, though we were nearer the coast and the mizzle wet sort of drizzle kept us mostly inside at Broughty Ferry.

                        Good morning all.
Officially, it's the 21st of September. Just 3 months to go and it's winter solstice.

Just stopped raining, but rain lasted only a few minutes, however, will eventually continue to rain this morning until 7 if the radar is correct.
                        14c currently, 21c max.
                        Rain warning for tomorrow.

Another cloudy start here with an o'night low of 12 degrees [12 just now at approx. 8.10am] and apredicted high of around 13 or so. Just to stay cloudy pretty much all day, although one forecast has sun coming through later.

Yesterday was the same - cloudy all day. The predicted sun never appeared, although it looked as if it might. The high was 14/15 degrees and increasingly breezy through the afternoon.

Yesterday was a day of two halves, thunder, lightning, hail and heavy showers after kick off. The after a team talk and a few substitutions God summoned up bright sunshine and warmth until extra time.

Today had started damp a bit of mist which will burn off soon getting to 23c again.
