Cloudy and dark.
Looks like it rained in the night 13c.

Just looked and a further 5mm overnight that makes 26mm in two days.
I think we got off light in comparison to other parts.

 

Another cloudy start, although no proper mist today. O'night low was 9 degrees [10 just now at approx. 8.20 am] with a predicted high of about 13, and some rain later. No wind at the moment, but that's to come in later with the rain.

Yesterday was an ugly day. The mist never lifted, and got worse later in the day, and becoming lower, and therefore damper. The high was 12.

 

We did have bursts of rain yesterday but today has started off dry around 12c with some cloud and blue sky in between. Outdoor day for us a gathering for our volunteering friends at the The Grange Walled Garden later , don’t want the Gazebo too blow away do we .

 

We had around 60mm over the weekend. Yesterday was supposed to be rain all day, started as an Amber warning then yellow, but it fizzled out mid morning. But it was very similar to the weather @fairygirl had - misty, dank and damp. We managed a walk but came back slightly damp from all the moisture in the air.

Today is supposed to be dry and it’s lighter than yesterday, thank goodness.

 

Our high was 25c at 2 o'clock ... oops, I didn't post that yesterday!

Today, currently 15c, bright with a hazy sky, going to 25c. It is a joy having this weather. Up North is going to have heavy rain for the next three days ... a blessing for them after the deadly fires.

 

14c dry as it not raining

 

One of those grey, very still Autumnal days, 12 degrees and dry at the moment.

 

It is 64f 16c so pretty mild for this time of year. Being pitch out there, I can't see if it's raining but the guessers say it should be pelting down all day. I hope things get good and soggy after the long dry spell we had and the guessers say will come again in October.

Another lovely day. A bit chillier than of late but still mild. We have only had a couple of downpours and distant rumbles of thunder. We must be on the edge of the rubbish going up North. Lovely for half term.

It’s stayed dry today and a bit of sun as the day draws to a close.

Rain forecast for most of the week ahead.

 

Got to 27c, 25c now, sunny and breezy. Been nice having the doors and windows open alll day ... well, they stay open day and night.

 

Its brightened up now, not sunny, but been grim most of the day.
Feeling pretty cool at 16c.
