Cloudy and breezy but I can see a bright portion coming our way from the west.
17C on the patio now ,

There has been a little rain overnight. It's cloudy now, 18c heading to 22. Dead calm and should remain dry.

Damp to start with then basically dry.

It will cheer up with sunny intervals at tea time then it soon gets dark! Shutting the curtains at 7.30pm now.

Warm and humid. It was 72% humidity indoors yesterday - can't give the outdoor reading as my sensor is in a waterproof tub.

        Very still.

I noticed the high humidity indoors yesterday too. It’s a science balancing window opening and humidity levels isn’t it. In the colder months I put a de-humidifier on as it feels warmer when it’s drier plus any heating is more efficient then.

It’s damp, cloudy, still, and a bit cooler here, hopefully brighter later. Classic September day.

Had twice short showers of rain this morning.
16c currently and will go up to 19c. Feels warmer.
Eventually rain in the afternoon again.

@AuntyRach , we have a dehumidifier running all year round and usually collect 1-2 litres per day. It switches itself off a few times a day and sometimes doesn't collect any moisture at all for a day or two, all depending on the weather. Wouldn't be without ours:) They are economical as the heating doesn't have to work as hard and clothes dry so quickly indoors in the winter too without a tumble drier

They are great aren’t they @Bluejayway - I don’t have a tumble drier either (well actually there’s an old one in garage but it’s for emergencies only!) so essential with damp washing.

Very autumnal in appearance here yesterday, misty and damp most of the day (but very warm with it) except for a brief burst of sunshine late afternoon followed by the first proper rain shower in a few weeks.

Today is very similar except we’ve had the rain this morning. Very mild and still.

After a few very light showers this morning, it looks like it's going to be pretty much dry for the rest of the week. At the moment we have light cloud cover and a very gentle breeze, temp. 17C, very pleasant, feels neither warm nor cool when I step outside.

We had some heavy rain for an hour or so, now it's drizzle and a gentle breeze from the north west temp 16c feels like 17c.

It is now up to 49f 8.5c but sunny and will probably be a bit more pleasant later.

It is trying to brighten up and about 18. Haven’t risked washing though.
