What's your Weather Like September

Poorly sick barely got out of bed since Wednesday, lunch, seem to be on the mend. No idea of the weather, not been out of the house.

It was sunny all day and temperature not that bad with 12c, but summer is clearly gone.
Today, we expect a cloudy start into the day which leads then into rain with a rain warning in the evening.
Currently, it's cold with 7c, and we will get 13c,

While driving to Cirencester yesterday, the Thames area is wet but not unusual wet.
The Oxford area around Abingdon is affected. They have flooding there. Poor people, and that 3 months before Christmas.
I will have to go to Oxford once more on Thursday and I may have to check first the flood reports.

Another 'Paul Simon' start here - 'Cloudy, the sky is grey and white and.. cloudy'. O'night low was 6 degrees [7 just now at approx. 8.20am] with a predicted high of about 13. Light breeze only, and it's meant to be a mix of cloud and a few bits of sun.

Yesterday was similar, with a few very light showers, and a high of 14 briefly. Very pleasant in the sun when it was around. A decent breeze, so the washing got dried. I even managed to bring it in before a heavier shower appeared. Result. Simple pleasures

 

Sunset 18.53 later, it’s chilly out but no excuse not to get out the garden for an hour ! Even though it’s a day of rest.

 

Very quiet grey morning, weather warnings for later. I've got my heated mousepad switched on. It makes all the difference first thing in the morning this time of year, when the surface of my desk is often very cold.

The BBC's overall forecast for today is sunny intervals, but the individual hours show cloudy. Their summary often does not tie up to the hourly breakdown.

Monday and Tuesday are 100% rain. So today alot will have to be done in the garden, including mowing the lawn when the grass has dried off a bit.

I have never heard of a heated mousepad! Sounds a good idea.

Got mice in the garage now that the wet weather has set in.

Crikey there is some awful commotion going on with the birds - crows, magpies, buzzards all screaming at once in the trees.

 

Sunny with a light breeze, 27c Spent two hours out pottering around and moved a three-colour mandevilla to a pot by a trellis and took dead climbing stuff off trellis.

 

The weather is changing rapidly here - gusts of wind and threats of rain now, building to a bit of a gale storm this evening.
