Wild, wet and stormy

 

Heavy rain and dark......that sums up the day ahead!!! On the plus side it is a mild 11C out there

It seems to be wet everywhere today. I can't believe @Verdun 's got rain too, that's unusual.

Yep, had loads of rain Sheal....we get more than our fair share of the wet stuff though it often clears up suddenly as it did mid afternoon today. Anyway, its usually a warm rain

 

No rain here until 4pm.

Gosh, it hasn't stopped all day !!We got home tonight at 7pm and as we had expected our lane was flooded. No doubt we will have run off water from the hills flowing along it for the next few days now. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the ducks and geese from the lakes came floating past

 

In this weather, it's an advantage to live halfway down a hill! But the bottom often floods. And there's a school on one side and an old people's home on the other.....
