:thumb: Morning everyone, well our weather is starting the same as yesterday, but today I am not worried about the weather here...:( I am worried about Hurricane Gustav..!! Jamaica is on Hurricane alert. Gustav is now 45 miles off Kingston & is traveling along the south side of the island..!! Our boat is in "safe harbour" now with all the other boat & fishing boats... But that is not infallible..! Barbara & Micheal have Boarded up the cottage & made safe as they can & have done the same to their homes. They will take shelter in a brick built house close to their homes.. :( I just pray & hope that everyone will be safe & the storm might drop south a bit more, but I don't think so. Our friends who live on the top of Cave Mountain have packed their house up & have moved into their own specially built storm shelter up there.. Now that is a lonely one..! This is not as big as Ivan or Katrina, but Hanna is close behind & gathering speed:eek: Now all we can do is wait until it has passed... I shall try & phone Barbara in a while, hopefully will be able to get through.!! Ah well, that's where my thoughts will be today..!:(

:thumb: I hope you all have a good & safe day today..!:)

Typical Shineyland weather today. The clouds are clearing, it is already 18C and the sun is starting to come out :thumb:. I can't remember the last time that we had some rain and the plants are looking a bit unhappy :(.

    Enjoy your day :)

:thumb: Well Pal..l I managed to get through to Barbara... The wonders of the mobile phone..!:thumb: She said the winds were tremendous & they were being deluged by rain, but all OK so far.. Hopefully the worst has past but not sure yet.. Hanna is waiting just out to the east now, so I shall be watching to see what that one develops into, over the weekend..:(
