    Morning all,

yesterday was sunny and very windy. When I took Aimee for her walk at midnight the wind had dropped and it was quite mild but it started raining about 1 a.m. and is still raining lightly now. The garden really needs it so all is well :thumb: :).

I've got to take her for her 8.30 walk soon and all my wet gear is up in the loft .

Morning Shiney, if it is anything like it is here you are going to need that wet gear.....how come you have got away without it so far this year? I hope your Aimee doesn't muck you about like my Chloe does, its more of a sniff than a walk, she stops every couple of yards but then her legs are like mine not very good so she doesn't want to step it out on the other hand I don't want to stand around while she sniffs.:( Have a good day. :thumb:

Moyra, we only dog sit occasionally and it has never rained when Aimee has been with us. It rarely rains here anyway :). If it is really peeing down then I don't go out and if it is merely raining I take an umbrella.

When I took her out yesterday we were galloping across the fields. Actually, she did the galloping at the end of her 40ft lead :D. I did the sedate walking bit and the throwing of the sticks :thumb:.

This morning she had a look at the pouring rain and wasn't very keen on the idea of going out. She walked up the road very reluctantly, had a pee and then dragged me back.

Shiney, I have chickened out of taking her this morning she has been out and around the garden and fortunately the rain will wash away her pee. I will have to go out and clear anything else up of course. I sowed a new lawn round the back about 10 days ago and it is coming on great guns , (I hope she hasn't been on it)- this rain will make it grow even more.

Our problem is that we can't let Aimee out on her own. She obeys my commands as though she is totally deaf :D :D.
