I am doing a party for husbands 50th on Saturday. I have transformed the garden into a pub garden. Keep fingers crossed for me or I will have to fit everyone into the house. The weather forecast is atrocious for Saturday

Ive been in work from 7 till 4 but what Ive seen of it has been rain with sunny intervals. We actually had the fire on for an hour or so tonight as it was quite chilly. 02

Pxxxxxg down. Just like they forecast. What happened to all those warnings we got a couple of years ago about building pipelines from the North down to here?

We had about 20 minutes of solid water falling from the sky yesterday evening but then it cleared and the sun came out. It rained a little in the night but it is dull and overcast now with almost no wind.

We've got a severe weather warning this morning, predicted 2" of rain and 35mph winds. So no outside work for me, I have a stack of 8X4 insulation sheets that I'm worried about and want to get fixed down asap, but came into the office instead. But so far its been a bit overcast and hardly windy, looks like the forecasters are always giving the worst scenario, perhaps I'll go back to seaweed ;)

    Morning all.

Didn't get any rain at all yesterday but through the night that has more than make up for it as it's pouring down really bad and it's been said that there's much more to come, not nice at all as it brings back bad memories of when we got stranded in Sheffield in the floods but that was just a drop in the ocean for others like our own GC Pal who suffered so much last year.....fingers crossed than none of us will suffer such bad times again.Take care guys.Hel.xxx.
