Yes, it's been another scorcher here today too. Can't believe it's only 11th May.
I think the garden's will need a bit of rain soon or we will have to do a bit of watering.

    Hi everybody,
East Ayrshire had a thunderstorm yesterday and watered the garden nicely. I worked on through until the Boss Woman said enough was enough. I was splitting some sandstone to cap off a brick wall which I am going to clad in timber. The sandstone will act as a cope to cover the double brick work and the uprights of timer nailed to 2" x 1" strapping. This is the top tier of 4 terraces in my back garden.

Thermometer said 27 in the shade after lunch today, Scorchio! Then mid-afternoon a short-lived dry storm, lightening was just out of sight, humph.
Wondering if Walnut caught the storm, just round the corner??

Morning Walnut and all. A bit cooler is our forecast with the light wind going round to the N.W. We now seriously could use a good downpour but no sign of it. It's probably waiting till the week-end.

Good morning all, it looks as though it will be another hot dry day. I had to water the veggie plot yesterday so that I could dig, rake and plant things  :)
