A frosty morning but with blues skies and sunshine. The wind was a bit nippy, though.

It was a very frosty start but warmed up nicely. Enough to thaw out the field I was parked in and get the van stuck:doh::doh:

Started off very cold. Spent most of the day tree felling around the perimeter of a 10 acre field that gets little sun at this time of year (only 10 days to the shortest day!) However the frost started thawing by midday and the Landrover slipped in the mud it revealed.
Tomorrow looks promising although rain is forecast for Saturday. Hopefully the weather, and my cold will be beter by Sunday, as I still have 400 tulip bulbs to get in. Yes, I know it's late, but they've got to join the 600 I planted a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully they'll make a fab display in the spring.

Heavy frost this morning and everywhere looks quiet crispy.Temperature just gone up from 29f to 30f so it is definetly getting warmer out there.

    Good morning everyone.
    -2 and frosty.
roads are a bit sticky too and look like there could be a few mishaps if people are not careful.

where are the gritters when you need them?

It is freezing here with everything covered in a thick layer of frost but there is a lovely pink glow in the sky as the sun is trying to break through :thumb:
