I was fortunate enough to have a long lie in this morning, I got out of bed at 9am and when I looked out of the bedroom window, lo and behold it was not frosty. You can never tell whether to believe the weather reports or not, according to them, it was to be -2 this morning at 5am. Hey maybe it was and I missed it !!! Will get out later after breakfast and paint my big urn.

Back from spending NYE in Ramsgate, Kent where the weather was milder than Sussex, although overcast yesterday but NO frost. Back here its been ok-bit of sun, some cloud but still no frost so the garden has finally de-thawed!

    Morning Walnut and all.

Not too cold out this morning no frost or anything nasty. I have already been out & put the bin and blue box out for collection and didn't find it too chilly although I have to confess I was still wrapped up in my dressing gown!Hel.xxx.

Believe it or not..... we have sun in Vale of York today:thmb:
Chilly walk today and a hint of warmth in the sunny bits but chilly in the shady bits.
My outside max/min showed a low of -5 last night...
Last of the leeks extracted from the garden today ready for the pot tomorrow.
