    -7 was half an hour ago now :D

    Got to be a record in my garden from the last few years. Nothing is wrapped up so will be interesting to see whats left in the spring:dh:

    I reckon the naked bananas will be touch and go but the leaves in the TFern crowns should still be enough.

    I hope my banana trees will servive as this is the hardest winter they are experiencing. I have wrapped them up in several layers of fleece.

    Not good is it Fancy. We have seen low temps before but not as prolonged. I squirted some bird poo off the car today with my hand sprayer (houseplant mister:wink:) turned to ice on impact with the paint:flag:

    Morning all,freezing hard last night but this morning above freezing and the frost starting to melt? probably the pollution around here but hey,take care everyone and have a good day.:thumb:

    Good morning frost on frost now all lifted but so very very cold out yes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and if ice underfoot please be careful.

    Absolutely perishing, and I've got a stinking cold to add to my misery, if I didn't have to take the dog out, I'd be indoors till April, and it's costing a fortune feeding the birds,
    But I'd read in the paper we're going to havea scorching summer, yippee, then we'll all be moaning about shrivelled plants and drought, Yippee bring it on

    Not so bad now but over the last few days I was considering going to Antarctica for a warm up.

    It was thawing out nicely all day but still a little chilly high up on the scaffolding at work.
