Today in Ayrshire its been a wee bit cooler than the last few days but still dry with sunny spells and high clouds. Hope its going to be nice tomorrow cos' I've got lots and lots to do. I managed to get my front grass cut and edged. This area is not being "sorted" until the back garden is finished. Here are a couple of pics.

The next 2 pics are some sandstone pillars I built to give me access to the area I am using as a wood store.

Note that I don't have neighbours on iether side of me.
The pergola is made from green oak that I bought for 40 quid at Culzean Castle which is a National Trust estate. I am not going to treat it with any preserver so it takes on that nice grey colouring.

I can't believe it, it has started to rain! the first we've had in over a week. Just hope we get a good down pour over night, and give the garden a good soak, then back to sunny skies tomorrow (wishful thinking on my part, but we live in hope:D)

    Morning Walnut and all.

Dear Walnut ditto here same weather as you sweetheart but can't really complain as the garden really did need a good water.

Lovely pictures G.Man I wonder if you haven't any neighbours near you does that mean you can get away with gardening in the nude? weather permitting of course.:D Hel.xxx.

Cloudy but quite bright and 10 degrees at the moment. I've just checked the forecast for our area for the next 10 days. Wet today but then dry until next Friday. The temperature not dropping below 4C. Then it shows it warming up and dry for next weekend :thumb:.

    G-Man, love your sandstone pillars.
