Morning all, it's still very cold here in Birmingham today.
Still have lying snow although we had none or very little in the night.
With the hard frost last night it's very icy.
Forecast is ,it's going to get warmer and brighter as the day goes on, we'll see.

    The sun is out,:yho:
but it's still freezing cold and very icy :(

    Morning all.

Ended up with 4 inches (or there abouts) of snow as it never stopped snowing yesterday. Pure murder to walk on the paths near the main roads as so many drivers were driving far too fast for the conditions....... the fools!

Today the sun is shinning although the snow seems to want to stay put!:flag:

Seems we got away lightly , less than an inch of snow!

Roads were a tad icy this morning, but now the sun is shining.

Lets hope it thaws out sharpish.

Have a great day all, see you soon.

4 inches of snow over the whole island today almost all transport has been cancelled apart from the wightbus school run (council owned bus company) and then the main bus company southern vectis cancelled all there school buses and most other routes. college is closed:yho: and half of the primary, middle and high schools are also closed. stopped snowing around 8:10AM then about 8:30AM it got colder and all the slush turned to ice and then we got lost of wind and sleet and now it's snowing very heavily!!!

LOL so if you get an SOS forum thread from me it's because I've been snowed in:lollol::rotfl:

Its cold here in Cumbria but the sun is shining brightly, taking the chill off it. What snow we had has all gone...just a few "drops" left in the garden.

Currently, my shed has no roof as I'm putting a new one on it today. Alfresco shed..I quite like it that way...:yho:

    Steve...:)

After a rainy evening yesterday, which washed away most of the snow, and
although the cars were icy first thing we now have a lovely sunny morning.

    Roll on Spring!

    ..
We have had just a heavy coating of snow overall, here in sunny Quedgeley.

Sharp wind most of the time, but sunny!

78f in the greenhouse when the sun was shining full on this afternoon!

But it is rapidly getting colder outside now!

    Cheers
