Just rain, rain, rain here. We had to drive down to Brighton this evening and it was torrential, with mist added in for good measure. Temperature was rising though. Odd weather.

Quite at the moment here in York. Heavy rain between 4 and 6 this morning appears to have shifted most of the snow. Seems to be a bit warmer as well.
Not ventured out yet to check. having another lie-in.

    Morning all.

Yesterday was one of the most weird days weather-wise after a slow start we were engulfed in a dense fog only for it to clear in the early evening to be replaced by a dense 'mush rain' and it was so very cold indeed. We were just 'outside' the worst of the weather yesterday a friend some 10 miles away was caught out in a blizzard and 10 miles away in the other direction there wer torrential rains!

Very oddly it appears a nice morning and even though it did seem so very, very cold last night the car windows haven't freeze over.Hel.xxx

Blasting windsorm, had to climb of the stables roof to lash down the upper layer (again... none of my landlords believe in maintainance). It's falling a mix of rain and snow, all very wet and muddy... sniff.

What a change to see and feel the sun even if it is through glass, but that wind outside is icy, still got some bits of snow hanging around. Please let it get warmer soon. I have been cutting back our wisteria on the garage wall just a bit, but that was it too cold to stay out and the ground is still hard with frost.

I'm fed up with this wet/snowy/cold winter. It's been sunny this afternoon but the chickens are still sloshing around in mud from last night's torrential rain. Whole family have been in bed with a sickness bed. Roll on spring.
