Kandy, that is because us oldies have to be careful when walking. We don't want to fall over :(. Is he muttering to himself and humming? That's the next stage :hehe:.

Snow is quite deep now and still snowing. It looks lovely out there. Have to see what it is like in the morning.

Yesterday evening was lethal. It was slippery and coming down fast.

Had to go visit our friends in hospital.
Their baby was born at 4 am yesterday and I got to hold her yesterday evening.
I've never held a new born baby before She was only just over 15 hours old.
It was really nice.:luv: I think little Gemma Charlotte has got herself an adoring aunt now.

Snow stopped at some time after 8 pm and the temperatur did not drop below 0.:gnthb:
This morning I made it in to work on time and was even able to use the 5th gear in places because for a change I was not driving on sheet ice all the time.

Event hen there was a crash ont he A421 - out of Mk to Bedford. Someone had managed to plant his car in the ditch and I can only guess that there might have still been some icy patches on that road.

The car-park at work is full of snow and looking quite slushy.

    Good morning all,

It snowed here until 3 a.m. Everything is covered in this white stuff but I think it will disappear gradually. Temperature is 5C.

The weather way down here on the South Coast has been almost spring like I've had three days in the garden and managed to get a fair bit done, If this continues I might be able to have the summer off. LOL
