It is Sunday today down at the allotment started rotivating and down came the much needed rain. Without any complaints we all packed up and went home. Birds are having a field day with the worms.

Morning Woo, Walnut, Kandy and all.

It would have been such a lovely day yesterday but for the gale force winds and of course the chill factor that came with them it was freezing!:(

Looks like the wind is still here although I do hope it's not as cold as yesterday I know I shouldn't complain (lol me complain never! liar!) as we have had no rain as yet but I think I would like a good down pour instead of this wind.....wind outside I hasten to add and not me personally :D Hel.xxx.

Good morning everyone. Pretty windy and very overcast.

Hi Fancy, good to back :thumb:. Did you have a good time.

Woo, you made me laugh as a poem immediately came to mind. It starts:-

"You are old father William", the young man said
"And your hair has become very white".
"But yet you incessantly stand on your head!"
"Do you think, at your age, it is right?" :D

Blowing a gale and pouring with rain but VERY mild.

:( It was almost identical weather this time last year which took down my Hawthorn tree. Fingers crossed it calms down soon. My laburnum blossom has 'gone for a Burton' already, but the tree is holding fast so far.

Oh No WOO - so sorry to hear about your Willow. :(

It is even stormier here in Devon since my last post - things getting blown everywhere.

Are you sure there is no saving your willow? I thought I had lost my Hawthorn but instant staking helped it to just about make it and there was a bit of blossom and some new growth this spring.
