I ventured out to see if my veggies were surviving, thought perhaps I would put a fork through the bottom of each grow bag to make sure they weren't getting too waterlogged but the ground squelched so much around the grow bags there didn't seem much point as its waterlogged everywhere. Just have to hope we get some drying out weather and not these horrendous high winds either - they are not doing the plants any favours either! Wish I hadn't gone out there to see now..........when ignorance is bliss etc.

Hope everyone is surviving ok without to much damage? :)

The weather here's wonderfully sunny and warm, it's a tad breezy but nothing to worry about. :)

I think we're going to get the rain later on in the week.

Rained a bit off and on, and a really gusty wind all day and still blowing now.
Problems with electricity supply too 'due to weather they said' as we had no power
for a couple of hours this afternoon.

At least the bad weather kept Jack indoors as I am sure he would have mowed
the lawn or something similar!

Morning all looks like it's our turn for the rain absolutely persisting down, the wind has eased from yesterday lots of damage to pot plants outside some large pots blowing over I was weighing them down with lumps of paving in an effort to stop them blowing over, supposed to be brightening up towards the end of the week, lets hope so,have a good day everyone.:thumb:

Good morning walnut and everyone :)

It is dry and calm here now so it does look as though the bad weather has gone up your way. walnut.

Morning Walnut, Shiney, Marley, Kandy, Lyn and all.

The gale force winds have died down some what which is great as it was a right b*gger to do anything in the garden with the wind going hell for leather I can tell you and we have now been rewarded with a good old dose of rain again something that is much needed so can't complain about that.Hel.xxx.
