0)Today 29C with a light wind and pleasant - but thunderstorms forecast later - hydrangeas hate it - but the passionflowers love it!

Sunny but I've spied dirty clouds coming towards my garden, fingers crossed they'll keep going and head off to the mountains.

Nice & sunny over the border today !

Anyone remember it's St. Swithins Day ?

St. Swithin's Day is 15 July, a day on which people watch the weather for tradition says that whatever the weather is like on St. Swithin's Day, it will continue so for the next forty days.
There is a weather-rhyme is well known throughout the British Isles since Elizabethan times.
'St. Swithin's day if thou dost rain
For forty days it will remain
St. Swithin's day if thou be fair
For forty days 'twill rain nae mair.'

South West Scotland was supposed to rain yesterday (St Swithens) but it didn't and it's supposed to rain today but it is bright just now-- keep fingers crossed.

Been gorgeous here in Yorkshire all morning.

Went for a lovely walk but got a bit warm as I had "gone prepared" :thmb:

First couple of miles was at a 2 year olds pace - so had plenty of chance to enjoy the scenery.
Once said 2 year old was in a back pack and asleep (not me carrying) the walk was a bit brisker!
