It was hot here yesterday although we had a nice breeze to keep it fairly cool or else we would have roasted. It is reckoned to be even hotter today before we get the storms and heavy rain:eek:

Our borders are begi ning to crack through the lack of water so I shall be losing my seeds down the cracks if we don't soon get some water.I expect once it comes it won't stop and then we will be complaining again just like we Brits do:thumb:

    Enjoy your day everyone:)

I feel another song coming on.

"Out of Town" by Max Bygraves, from the movie "Charkley Moon" in 1956.

    Say what you will
    The countryside is still
The only place that I could settle down
Troubles there are so much rarer
    Out of town

    Spring starts to spring
    Robins start to sing
And Mother Nature wears her newest gown
What I'd give once more to live right
    Out of town

    Up there the sun
    Is a big yellow duster
    Polishing a clear, blue sky
With bright fluffy clouds in a cluster
Hanging on the line to dry

    Spring starts to spring
    Robins start to sing
And Mother Nature wears her newest gown
What I'd give once more to live right
    Out of town

It's nice and sunny here but blowing a gale so the poor seedlings I put out to get some rays are looking a bit battered!
