Stopped at last, fingers crossed we`ll get a dry day, but not sun, all the plants will get scorched. Thank god I sorted out the clay last december!

I've had the hose running on the alotment all day.

Its not rained here, (apart from a bit of drizzle), for about ten days, and before that it was about three weeks.

But its not really summer like weather, a bit cool and cloudy at times.

    Beetroot looking a bit sad,[IMG]

Morning all, part cloudy this morning and cool but every chance of a nice day when the sun comes up,yesterday was a bummer the stong squally winds wreaked havoc in the garden blowing large pots over snapping leaves and stems, lets hope it dries out now everywhere is waterlogged no problem with beetroot up here Pete, have a good day everyone.:thumb:

It is lovely and sunny here in the East Midlands though there is quiet a good breeze blowing:rolleyes: I have just had to put the heating back on because the house is freezing, not unlike it feels in the Autumn:rolleyes:

I'm finding the big problem is the constant high winds. Even my staked tomato plants are taking a battering, and unsupported peppers and chillies are sometimes just snapped off.

Morning all the sun is shinning but the grounds still very wet from all the rain yesterday so no car boots for me today and boy is it going to be hard going down on the allotments too! Never mind it could be worst.

Prastio I know what you mean our hanging basket with a Tumbling Tom has been hit by all the strong wind so all that's left of the tomato plant is the fruits! Hel.xxx.

You lot are going to hate me! ;)

Yesterday, here in shiney country, we had ten minutes of very heavy rain and then a warm, cloudy and sunny day. Today we have brilliant sunshine with a nice brisk breeze that is ideal weather for mowing - and going out :thumb: :D
