I hope you don't mind me joining in :)

We almost had some rain yesterday, tiny sprinkle late in the day and I mean tiny, but then sunshine again. Today looked promising for rain, then the sun appeared and so nothing so far. We haven't had rain for near on two weeks!

We do need A LOT more rain -
    [IMG]
our runners are only about 18" - 24" high as yet
and by now they are usually covered to the top of
    the 6ft frame.
Vey poor compared to previous years.:(

and the dwarf beans are just going yellow and dying.

Just wondering whether we will get any runners at all
this year - is it too late?

How very generous of you Shiney but I doubt we'll get that far for some time.
Mr JJ is still having to take it easy and that's why the conditon of the garden is
not so good this year. Never used to be a weed anywhere - they wouldn't dare
    grow when he was about!

And Pal, you might not need any rain - but we do!

Very nice morning we have here no rain at all although I'm sure we were warned we would be getting 'some' although I'm no longer sure what 'some' is...could be a little spot of rain or a down pour for all the weather people know!:D Hel.xxx.
