What's your weather, Winter 2016

Yesterday, although sunny all day, the frost on the lawn didn't go, but it did clear from the car. It was 23F (-5C) at 4 a.m. but has risen to a massive 26F (-3C).

Now that we have some light I can see that everything is white here as well but I would classify the view as mist.

 

The day was bright and clear this morning with a hard frost on the car and grass when I went to fill the Bird Feeders, even the Cats cut their garden patrol short

Anyway, the temperature stayed at around 27f most of the morning, as it had throughout the night, and then "warmed up" to 33f by noon with the frost disappearing. There was some heavy mist around for most of the day but I discovered that it only extended to about 4 hundred yards around my House!! The mist has gone but the skies are clear so I will be in the Observatory staring at Orion through the Telescope while wrapped up in my old Cold Weather Fishing Jacket and trousers until the early hours.
Right now the temperature is 31f with a pressure reading of 1030mbs.

 

Freezing all day, fog rolling by in various amounts of thickness, clear night down to 25F and now 27.4F. Thick fog forecast all day but can't see until it gets light (or maybe it is already light but the fog is so thick it looks black out there ).
