It's never got above 39f today with clouded skies. It rained for a couple of hours and we had 6mm in that time. By noon it had dried up and the skies started to clear although there was a cold North/NorthEasterly breeze which made your face tingle. Right now the skies are still clearing, the temperature is 31f and the pressure reading is 1004hpa. :coffee::snork:

Been raining on and off since 2pm, pretty cold with it 4.6 C at the moment.

Added up my yearly rainfall total today came out at 654 mm, thats 55mm more than last year.
Jan was the wettest with 127mm closely followed by June with 120mm.
Believe it or not December was the dryest with 9.5 mm.

The temperature has stayed around 33f all day until late in the afternoon as the Sun started to set and it has now dropped to 29f with clear skies.:hate-shocked: There was a frost this morning but by midday most of it had disappeared only staying where the Sun couldn't reach. The forecast for most of the UK is for fairly settled weather with some bright clear days and some cloudy but dry days until around Friday.......anyone taking bets??:heehee: Anyway, clear skies tonight means I'll be in the Observatory from around 9pm with my Cold Weather gear on until I start nodding off in in the early hours:doh::snorky:

I expected to see a frost this morning but cloud cover moved in overnight, therefore another gloomy but dry day. Still chilly to at 4C/39F.

@wiseowl it's positively sweltering down your way!

29F and very frosty and icy outside. No sign of the sun yet. I hope the frost clears off my car by lunchtime, when I'm going out, as I don't feel like scraping it off. I may have to just leave the engine running and blowers on - not very environmentally friendly but more Shiney friendly :heehee:

                          Frost, frost, frost!
Not really complaining: looks pretty, like snow; unlike snow, it doesn't turn to slush, clears up faster and at least it has a nice "crunch" to it :heehee:
