Damn! whats the odds of me just making a name up at random and inventing a type of clem for april the first and it turning out to be a proper name LOL

well at least the anagram of april fool I used in the hardy buzy lizzie with black flowers post can't be a real name :D

Steve is taking the Michael :0) I find it hard to choose my own favourite, late spring belongs to Pink Flamingo, divine small pink (of course) flowers. Summer is Elsa Spath, and late summer/autumn is Etiole Violette. Oh, and from June to autumn for sheer flower power it has to be Petite Faucon, a small non clinger. I grow it through a skimmia. I have left out so many, Duchess of Edinburgh is fabulous, so are Belle of Woking and Beauty of Worcester, the very floriferous Huldine ....................there are more, so many more..............

I love my Clems, was tying in new growth this afternoon. I forgot to tell you about Arabella, she is a bit naughty and scrambles all over the Weigelia :0)

some of the tangutica's have much thicker flower petals than others. I love the yellow lanterns. The seed heads make interesting decorations. You can pick them and put them in a vase or whatever, a friend sprayed some with silver and gold sray paint, they looked amazing.
