Oh .... thought it was when he attacked me about not being 'qualified' and then responded that it's not 'rocket science' to mow a lawn, plant a shrub or pull a weed?

or it could have been where I said that I don't need to go to university to understand gardening, as if I have a query, all answers can be found on google or on this forum?

or it could have been where I used weedkiller to sort out zillions of weeds before sowing grass seed, and was told by him that I should go on a 'horticultural course' before using herbicides?

oh ... ok ... so it's not me that cheesed him off ....

I must have missed that thread .... I don't plant veg and seldom respond or read threads related to vegetables

 

So no-one's answering.
Is the man okay ...... is he ill ..... would those people that do know but aren't saying at least say whether everything's alright with him, i've only been on here a short while, comparatively, but when someone isn't around for a while their absence is noticed and you get a bit concerned.

 

Has anyone done the obvious and sent him an Email?

Even if he has had enough of the site, he is likely to at least respond an put people's minds at rest.

 

I believe Marley sent him a message last time he did a bunk and he just said he was taking a break for a while. Unfortunately people do go missing sometimes for a variety of reasons and the rest of us don't always know why. I miss Dai and all his horticultural knowledge, not to mention his acerbic wit.

 

PS I suppose one of the advantages of online friends is that you can always switch 'em off if they annoy you. Shame you can't have online offspring as well. :D
