I've got duckweed (thanks, best mate!?)

At this time of year my pond is as clear as anything (hence seeing all that flipping duck weed :wallbanging: )

My ducks + herring gulls saw off the last of my fish during last year *double :wallbanging: *

I'm going to try to the marginal route (nowt to lose, methinks) and see what happens. Hopefully, I will find my "forever home" in the next 4 years and it won't be an issue ;)

It's now been banned as a potentially invasive species. Shops are allowed to sell their existing stock and then that's it.

But, therein lies the difference: I'm not looking for job opportunities; merely, solice ;)

Hmmm, Solace?? "comfort in sorrow, misfortune or trouble", I needed it at certain times of my life but found it to be rare commodity:dunno: Sometimes trusted friends can give it you but not often. It depends on the severity of the problem, I guess. sometimes the only person capable to give you solace is yourself.:coffee:

Oh you total blighter!!! No true 'gentleman' would have highlighted my spelling faux pas :nonofinger:
But, you speak wisely :old: Rare, indeed.

Depends on the problem? Or, perhaps, on trust? ;) And, 'trusted friends'?

Too deep! Let's go back to change one letter: I can do that :roflol:

Update only a little bit of blanket showing at the moment.
Brought a big bag of pennywort of eBay and its in the pond covering approx 1/3.
We'll see how that goes (fish seems to be enjoying it anyway)

mowgley I have noticed a lack of blanket weed in recent weeks, but, a plethora of tadpoles! I may be wrong, but I think taddies feed on blanket weed (amongst other things, such as mosquito larvae) ? :dunno: In which case, my taddies have a veritable glut going on (should I warn the taddies G.P. they may be in need of obesity advice? :heehee: )

I also think fish gorge on tadpoles, which may be counter productive in terms of blanket weed? My pond is minus fish (thank you, heron gulls, from last year! :nonofinger: )
