I watched a prog on how the austerity measures are affecting the Greek people, they were eating the whole snails there, never mind just the eggs.

Let`s not go on the politic side of it ; ) ....
but let look at this picture of a snail farm in the middle of nowhere , are they really so tasty that we can`t leave without?
all my interest in snail started last week when i was reading a local news paper and the complain of local people over a group of foreigner (I`m a foreigner myself) that was snail picking in the wild and my curiosity of find out what was with it .....apparently the English snails are really tasty and this year there are lots of them , so do your maths at £5 per kilo how much will you earn in a day? Not pushing any of you , mine is just curiosity feeding , how many of you did know about white caviar last week?

I watched a programme about a bloke who cooked a girl he was a dating a meal, and he tried to impress her by serving snails - that he had found in his garden :eeew: They both injested blood worms from the snails which spread to there brains and internal organs and killed them :ouch1:

Another one was a girl fishing on her own, and she caught a fish and yanked the rod back a little too hard, the fish went flying through the air and into her mouth and got lodged in her windpipe killing her!

Another was this young couple that were pratting about inside a huge inflatable dome they had entered but they died from asfixiation when they couldnt find the exit as they were getting high

Another was a man who was shot by a snake :loll:

Hydrogen have you been read ....100 stupid ways to die ....I first read it years ago after a yellowstone ranger was killed by a turtle ......apparently an eagle catch the turtle and dropped from the sky and got the ranger who just took is hat off.
Yes snails are carring blood worms , that why you cooking them and second you suppose to cure them for 3 days by feeding them carrots , onion or garlic (internal seasoning) and while we are here thinking about the french ......look at this.... a taste of France at Lidl all over UK.
