Who believes Trump?

I wouldn't like to have been there over the last 4 years as the whole mental attitude of the Country seems to have changed. They now seem to have a almost religious, cult like, fervour to their Politics and Leaders, with some claiming with almost fanatically that they "Love" their President Trump while you would find it extremely hard in the UK, over the centuries up to the present, that any of the public would ever make that claim
The Republicans seem to have, when asked for a direct answer, invented a new, verbal, dance that I call the Trump Two Step, (slow, slow, Deny, quick, quick, Lie). To see the lying, hand on heart, claims to be a Patriot (a loose definition in the USA), a love of their Country, while claiming the Election was rigged and that Trump claims that he won in a landslide takes it beyond the insane is, to me, stomach churning.

 

Do I take it that you dislike Trump?

 

No, shiney, you misread me, I hate the lying, deceit, blaming of other people that he represents I actually feel sorry for Trump as he is obviously a mentally sick man unable to accept reality and anything beyond his own fantasy world.
The Impeachment Trial looks likely not to start until after Biden is made President.

The one good thing he decided to do, because of the legal arguments, is not to Pardon Himself or his family. That means he and his family are open to Federal investigation and prosecution as well as State prosecution, and that doesn't count the Civil Prosecutions he will also face. The Cronies he's pardoned will now not face Federal prosecution but are still open to State prosecution.
