As I said last time this was mentioned, mine's easy - I'm Mum to 3 young women who were once little girls and, as we all know, small children can't stay still and thus they became collectively known as 'The Fidgets' (in fact, they're still quite often referred to thus!).

Ariadne was a Greek goddess I rather liked the sound of, she is supposed to be utterly pure, and consort to Dionysus . Quite how that works I don't know! So I wanted to be called that in my online game but it was taken, so I tried Ariane, which was another way of spelling Ariadne, and was also a type of rocket, but that was taken as well.
Ariadae therefore evolved. And I love opera, so usually I think of myself as Aria lol. My husband thinks i'm a bit weird haha. And I wish I could sing.

 

I'm certainly not royalty. But I'll come clean ... my christened name is Vicky (after my father Vick, an ex-Victor who legally changed his name). When we first came to Portugal 28 years ago the Portuguese couldn't get the hang of Vicky (which came out wee-key) and so started calling me Victoria so it has been ever since, but it is spelt Vitória here.

 

Mine is one of the boringest. I bat for the other team and I like getting mucky out back
