Sandelions :snorky:. Love or hate 'em, gotta admire their adapability.

No idea, maybe a form of Marsh marigold? Was spotted on edge of a marsh.

Hogweed with something a bit more sinister sprouting up from below. Possibly Fallopia Japonica but I believe Fallopia x bohemica as many localised stems had seed pods on until late winter - then someone smashed them down

I took a walk I have walked at different times in the 40 odd years I have been here but I was so saddened, well almost distraught to see that a field that is organically farmed and has been for as nearly many years.. All the Cuckoo flower or Milkmaids as some call them - Cardamine pratensis were almost gone!! :hate-shocked:

I was talking to the farmer and I do agree with him.. His reckoning is the estate of new houses that has been built over the hedge has stopped all the natural rainfall reaching that field as the storm water is piped away from the estate.. I have to agree, over the years this field has become drier over the years since they built the houses, about 20 years ago.. You also don't get the Vetch, Rattle, and poppies and countless grasses as did years ago.! So sad.!

This is the biggest clump the rest are just odd flowers dotted here and there, a big change from hundreds.!:huh:

                  That's awful Marley :ouch1:

Here's the meadow next to me, gets sodden every winter.

IT is awful but it goes to prove we are not only killing our wild flowers with chemical farming but we are now covering so much countryside with developments that mainly all pipe their storm water away so our water tables are dropping and getting smaller.!

I live on the edge of the Cotswold water table, or perhaps I should refraise that... I used to... I now have to walk three miles towards it before you hit the edge.. It is obvious when you do as you will lose your wellie if not careful in the winter or summer usually.!.. What used to be called the Wet Woods are no longer very wet at all and in summer baked dry.. You can see the effects in the old hard wood deciduous trees..
I find it so so sad and now they are saying our village must provide more housing..!!

I feel so angry, I am sad.. We have had petitions and all sorts over the years to keep the building at bay, but sadly we have a Conservative councillor who will advocate anywhere for building except near her, but now Karma has come to get her and they are going to build up to her back garden.!:lunapic 130165696578242 5: Sorry I know that is probably wrong to say but its the truth.. :gaah::rain::bolt::rain::gaah: My anger is immense..

Maybe yours is a garden escapee..
