Just got back from a long weekend on Lundy, in the Bristol Channel. It is currently awash with bluebells, and thrift:

Other lovely flowers that I actually photographed are Sheepsbit scabious:

              Henbane

              and Yellow pimpernel

Not only did I fail to get a decent photo of the vast swathes of bluebells, but I also didn't capture the endemic Lundy Cabbage, which admittedly looks just like oilseed rape...

Sorry for the grainy shots. Phone camera lens scratched and added bluriness when things are swaying around in the wind :frown:

                          Charlock (Sinapis arvensis)

Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera). Feel so privileged to have seen any orchid in these here parts.

Thanks mate, ID much appreciated :dbgrtmb:

Pity it isn't Insanely Rare Vetch (Visia millionaire maker) ... but nevertheless, a pretty, remarkably small, dainty, and delicate plant. Thankfully the dogs didn't tread on it!
