Wild Flowers you have seen while out walking....!

Meadow Cranesbill, Hedge Woundwort, Blackberry, Goosegrass and I think you might have a Tuffed Vetch in there

 

Seems to be quite useful as a herbal remedy

We got Hedge woundwort in the garden and the bees love it

 

While out walking at Westernbirt we came cross this field of orchids

There were also lots of stately foxgloves

 

I worked on the Church just down the road from Westonbirt, never had a chance to visit though

 

On the cliffs and flower meadows at Durlston Country Park there were literally thousands and thousands of Pyramidal Orchids (Anacamptis pyramidalis). The park actively encourages people to see them.
Just opening.




Not at all common but I came across an all white Pyramidal just opening.


Plenty of Spotted Orchids (Dactylorhiza Fuchsii) but going over now.


Growing alongside each other.


The odd Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera) was still hanging on.

Self Heal. More interesting if you get right down and close up (never noticed those hairy bits before). It then gets really interesting when you realise you're lying on a red ants' nest!

I know what the first one is, a lovely wild Sweetpea but no idea what the other two are?
