      I ate a lump of raw garlic bulb once for a dare. I was alright that day. It was the next day at college that it all went wrong.

        I'm planting 725 garlic cloves this year (loads are in 'peat' pots as I couldn't get frozen ground prepared to plant them in) and they're stronger than the wild stuff - I love the smell of my boots after I've been for a walk in the woods where the wild garlic grows.

            It grows like this along the brooks near where I live . Tons of the stuff , although its not flowering yet.

              That's good news for me as I wont be holidaying where that pic above was taken until the end of the month.
